Week 29 of the new dental build
Comments are off for this post.
At week 20 and we are still not where we want to be! Ducon building solutions and I have been battling Lumoenergy daily to arrange disconnection of the old building. It has not been in vain as we are slowly getting somewhere. Incredible that Australia being a first world country would have such problems! All the setbacks are caused by Lumoenergy’s incompetant administration and, apparently, outdated technology.
The new build is looking good with most of the protective coverings removed. All the joinery are in place and the interior is certainly looking better. Floor coverings have been removed in most places. Painting of the interior and exterior are complete with only minor touch ups left to do. We are seeing the finish product take form everyday.
Protective film covering the windows have been removed and the front entry appears as it should. We have decorative panels to be installed next week.
I am hoping we will have better news in the next update about the progress for the new build. All that remains at this point in time is for Ausnet to arrange for the disconnection of the old building and we can start demolition for the carpark. So are we there yet? Not quite yet unfortunately but we are getting close!
