Week 29 of the new dental build

Comments are off for this post.
We are almost at the end of this loooooonnnnng journey! The old building has been demolished and all the debris removed, despite the wet weather and Melbourne cup day.
The drainage pits have been installed and the ground work laid down for the asphalt. There have been further delays as contractors drag their feet and coordination of trades go to the wayside. But I think the end is in sight!
I hope the weather holds out a little longer to allow the asphalt works to go ahead next week. Lines to be drawn up for the car parking spots. And the building surveyor behaves himself when he does the final inspection. I have been forewarned about how unpredictable these people can be. Finding faults when none were there 1 month ago. So I am holding my breath and hoping it will all proceed without a hitch.
We are only 6 weeks behind schedule but hell, who’s counting. The whole team at ProCare Family Dental are very excited and a little weary as well after this long tedious experience. It has been far too long and we are looking forward to seeing everyone in the new surgery very soon. We are hoping to be in the new place by the 26 November 2018. Yes before Christmas 2018!
